Salt therapy (halotherapy) is a natural, drug-free treatment that disperses ultra-fine dry salt particles into the air. As your horse breathes, these microscopic minerals travel deep into the lungs and settle on the skin, helping to:
It’s the same refreshing effect you feel after a day at the beach or walking near a waterfall — lungs open, body lighter, energy renewed. Salt Stall delivers that same proven environment in a safe, climate-controlled space designed for horses.
Our mobile, climate-controlled trailer comes directly to your barn, racetrack, or event. Horses simply load in — no hauling, no downtime.
Inside the trailer, a patented halogenerator disperses ultra fine, pharmaceutical-grade dry salt into the air. This creates a breathable microclimate that mimics the natural healing atmosphere similar to clean ocean air.
As your horse stands calmly, the salt particles are inhaled deep into the lungs, where they loosen mucus, reduce inflammation, and fight bacteria. At the same time, particles settle on the skin and coat, soothing irritation and supporting healing.
After 15–20 minutes, the session is complete. Some horses may cough lightly as mucus clears — a healthy sign that the therapy is working. With consistent sessions, results build over time into easier breathing, faster recovery, and healthier skin.
Salt Stall by Equine Salt Therapy is trained in the latest wellness techniques and operates with veterinarian‑advised protocols. We’re here to support your horse’s health goals.
